Billing Assistant – Currently Accepting Resumes

DWD Technology Group is seeking to hire a Billing Assistant to be responsible for supporting the billing process, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

DWD Technology Group is a rapidly growing business-software consulting firm, that performs software implementation, integration and development services for small and medium sized businesses and organizations.  Our team of software consultants and developers interact with clients to tailor software and reporting to improve their business processes and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send out invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify billing data, including contract details, pricing, and terms.
  • Handle billing inquiries from clients and internal departments.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and billing activities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline billing processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments that help ensure a smooth and efficient business process.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Billing Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with billing software is a plus.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Preference Given to Candidates with:

  • Previous experience working with Sage 100 or similar accounting software (ERP)

Schedule:  Full-time, Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:  Bonus pay

Ability to Commute/Relocate:  Fort Wayne, IN 46825:  Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Accounting Systems Consultant – Currently Accepting Resumes

DWD Technology Group is seeking an Accounting Systems Consultant to provide setup, training, and support services to our Sage Software clients.  A background in accounting or business systems along with an interest in technology is an ideal fit for this position.

DWD Technology Group is a rapidly growing business-software consulting firm that performs software implementation, integration, and development services for small and medium sized businesses and organizations.  Our team of system consultants interact with clients to identify and resolve technical software issues as well as provide direction to help improve their business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new software implementations, including the conversion of data.
  • Provide software clients with on-going problem solving and support services.
  • Work in cooperation with other team members to resolve technical issues.
  • Train users on most efficient use of the software.
  • Identify reporting requirements and develop reports.
  • Plan and execution of software upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting, business degree or applicable experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting, inventory, distribution and manufacturing systems.
  • Understanding of business operations and common issues business owners face.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word)
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of clients with varying experience levels.
  • Must have strong project management, organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills including phone, verbal and written.
  • Strong work ethic, team player, and the willingness & diligence to learn.

Preference Given to Candidates with:

  • Previous experience working with Sage 100, Sage Intacct or similar ERP software.

IT Network Administrator – Currently Accepting Resumes

DWD Technology Group is a growing network managed services provider, Microsoft Partner and Datto Blue Diamond Partner that works with small and medium sized businesses.  Our network team works with clients to design, implement and support network systems as well as provide direction to help improve their business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows Server administration, deployments, and migrations.  Work with on-prem, cloud and virtualization using Azure, VMWare, Hyper-V.
  • Configure, install, and support various network devices and services, including LAN, WAN and wireless connectivity, routers, firewalls and security.
  • Provide MS (Office) 365 tenant migrations, administration and support.
  • Administrate security solutions including antivirus, endpoint protection and MFA.
  • Design and implement business continuity, backup and disaster recovery onsite and cloud solutions.
  • Review and respond to automated monitoring alerts for our managed services clients.
  • Work with industry leading solutions including Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, Fortinet, Datto, and SentinelOne.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Microsoft certification preferred.
  • Experience installing and migrating Windows Server 2008 – 2019 environments.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Remote Desktop, Windows Desktop, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and MS 365 preferred.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft (Office) 365 Tenant management preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to talk about technology in non-technical terms.
  • Have the focus and passion to always follow through with support requests.

Schedule:  Full-time, Monday to Friday

What’s Been Happening at DWD

Tech Group Team Building

We all had lots of fun and great competition during our laser tag team building event in May.  Afterwards we enjoyed axe throwing mini bowling, pinball, and arcade games.
