The difference between Sage 100 Standard & Advanced is minimal, but important.  Both software suites fall under the category of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) which was designed to drive productivity and profits up and costs down allowing your business to grow.  They go beyond simple accounting packages with a broad selection of integrated modules with seemingly limitless capabilities.

As with many Sage software solutions, the module design allows you to choose the pieces that make the most sense for your current needs, while giving you peace of mind in knowing there are other modules available that will allow your software to grow with your company.

Now for the difference, Sage 100 ERP Advanced (MAS 200) is the same software as Sage 100 ERP Standard (MAS 90) except it incorporates all the benefits of a thin client/server platform to distribute increased processing power, elevated system performance, enhanced data integrity, reliability and remote access support. All the program logic, processing, and data management tasks are performed on the application server, while user interface tasks are performed using a thing client installed on the workstation. This means there is less network traffic and more room for growth over the long term of your business.
