How to Create Duplicate and Recurring Transactions in Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct offers many ways to streamline processes. Duplicating or setting up recurring transactions can be one of those ways to accomplish this, allowing users to focus on other tasks that need completed.

Duplicating transactions gives you the flexibility to take a previous transaction and keep all the information entered and only change the needed fields. Recurring transactions allow for the automation of transactions that never change to automatically be created.

How to create duplicate and recurring transactions in Sage Intacct examples below.

Accounts Payable

• Applications > Accounts Payable > Bills

• Select edit on the Bill you want to duplicate or make recurring

• Duplicate – once duplicate is selected you can edit the Bill as needed and submit/post.

• Recurring
  1. Use the more actions button to select create recurring transaction.
  2. This will bring up the recurring bill screen where you need to fill out the schedule tab.
  3. Save the schedule and then it will take you to a list of all the recurring bills in the system along with additional information about those bills.

Journal Entry

• Applications > General Ledger > Journal Entries

• View Transactions

• Select edit on the Journal Entry you want to duplicate or make recurring

• Duplicate – select the more actions button and click duplicate. Once duplicated you can make the necessary changes and click submit/post.

• Recurring
  1. Use the more actions button to select Recur.
  2. This will bring up the recurring journal entry screen where you need to fill out the schedule tab. Note: The email address you put in here will send an email out when your entry is created.
  3. Save the schedule and then it will take you to a list of all the recurring bills in the system along with additional information about those bills.
